Scott & Susan have been friends forever, but have dated for two years before getting engaged. Scott is an Oklahoma cowboy, with the boots and armadillo belt to prove it. Susan is Plant City raised (minus the boots) and is an accomplished runner. In fact, Susan is planning a pre-dawn “victory” run on their wedding day with some girlfriends; all dressed in previously worn brides dresses!  Look for those pics in the next month or so.

Because they have known each other for so long, Scott & Susan have a comfort with each other that is enviable. Not comfortable like an old shoe, but that kind of comfort where two people just fall into each other with an ease and a love that seems like they are two halves of a whole.

School is back in session and believe it or not, time will go by quickly. Now is the time to think about Senior Portraits. Senior Portraits are a great chance for students to show off who they have become.

When my sister in law asked me to photograph her kids, I saw it as the perfect opportunity to get that all too often missed face-time. Sure, I see my nieces and nephew at the occasional family gathering, but there are way too many distractions and adult conversations to really get to spend time with the kids.

Carson and Sykes are polar opposite twins. They look and act very differently from one another. I like to think that this will be a great advantage for them as they get older. There will be a greater ability for them to become individuals while still maintaining their strong sisterly bond. Carson is a dark-toned tom-boy. Sykes is fair and more reserved and I sense she flies under the radar most of the time. We must have spent an hour that day just talking about this and that.

Skip just turned four. He’s the man in a female dominated household seeking out his place among the dolls and cookbooks. He’s hard to keep still but a joy to watch, as he moves from one facial expression to another. They are all equally marvelous and I can’t wait to spend more and more time with each of them.
